Question from the pilot

Saturday, December 29th, 2007

OK so maybe this has been discussed, but I have a question about the pilot episode (not the pilot guy who monster ate).

In all the flashbacks to moments before the crash, Charlie is running up the aisle and the attendants are chasing him. He runs past Jack and seems to do something to Jack’s back or maybe it’s just he ran into him and trying to get around him to run away. Did Charlie do something to Jack’s back? Jack has a big cut on his back, but when you see him on the beach his jacket is not cut. His shirt is cut and clearly has a big gash that Kate stitches up but why isn’t the jacket ripped?

And how did Charlie end up on the beach if he was in the front of the plane having just stashed the heroin in the loo?

The fictional airline had previously announced plans to close it’s doors due to “financial difficulties in the wake of the Flight 815 tragedy.” It looks like that previous viral story point needed to be modified to fit in with the story-lines of the upcoming season of LOST.
