guess that this must be the place
I hope I’m not alone in believing that the opening to A Tale of Two Cities would have been just a *little* bit more amazing had they been able to procure the planned music- Talking Head’s Naive Melody/This Must Be The Place (last track on Talking In Heads). (Downtown worked out, but it’s rather cliche, and the lyrics to Naive Melody work so much better.)
Anybody tried synching them up? ABC’s online player is a crude way to do it, but I did a reasonable job. I tried to synch the 1:05 mark on Naive Melody with the :50 mark on the episode. Her little mirror scene seems to end with her mouthing along to the line “guess I must be having fun” as she turns.
I’d like to get a video file of the opening, and try to be a little more exact, and maybe make a youtube vid for the fans to see what was originally envisioned. All those many Lost/Talking Heads fans.
